For the next 60 days, I’m doing something radical that goes against all the rules, and which several people told me they weren’t so sure I should do. Today, I’m inviting you to participate in this experiment if you want to follow along and see what happens. First, some backstory…

I recently hired a new Marketing Manager, and we did a deep data dive into the last 16 years of the business, especially into our email list. We found some shocking data about my audience and email list.

I have a very large email list—tens of thousands of people—accumulated after 16 years in business. Yet we noticed:

Only a small percentage actually open and engage with our emails regularly.

SO many people on our email list have been benefiting every week from our high-value content for YEARS yet have never invested in anything, even though we’ve had many offers and price points over the last 16 years.

That tells me that a big percentage of our email list has been happy to read our high-value content for many years but never actually intended to take decisive action to buy anything we offer.

My next question was, “Why are they here? At the end of the day, this is a business, and we are here to sell.” It turns out a few of those people are family members and close friends, so that made sense. But the data revealed even more interesting “tea.”

Out of the people who were regularly opening and engaging with our content:

A few of those people are colleagues who “just want to see what I’m doing.”

Some were nightmare clients we fired, yet still obsessively read our emails, even though we’ve removed them multiple times.

Some were online bullies whom we kept blocking yet kept signing up for our email list with new fake emails or names.

Definitely not a good thing to have that type of energy hanging out on your list, right?

And the rest?

While we had a nice percentage of people who invested in our services or offers and are still engaged, we also had a large percentage of people who are just… lurking with no intention of buying.

This just didn’t feel right.

Have you ever been in a relationship where you are pouring out your heart and soul to the person, giving and giving…and the person doesn’t return that effort? That’s what this felt like.

PART 1: NO ONE-SIDED RELATIONSHIPS

If you’ve been here for a while and have invested in our offers, you’ll also know that one of the biggest values we teach is non-draining relationships. I even built a framework around this that our clients call a “game-changer” (we call it “The CEO Ecosystem.”)

The essence of the CEO Ecosystem is this: As you scale your business’ visibility and profitability, you must be meticulously mindful of what your inner circles look like and ensure nothing in them is unconsciously draining your energy.

After working with some extremely successful celebrity CEOs over the last 16 years, our data has shown that lopsided or one-sided relationships are a silent “killer” of a CEO’s capacity and a business’s long-term sustainability.

The data from our email list showed me we had many lop-sided relationships. No bueno.

PART 2: NO PERPETUAL FENCE-SITTERS

The data deep-dive also showed me that our ideal clients are quick to decide and act, even if it means facing some fears. I love that about them—it’s super inspiring. It keeps me going as a coach and CEO; it gives me energy, which has helped us sustain a successful business for 16 years.

Experience has also shown me when I work with folks who hesitate, lag, or constantly hold back on making fast, decisive investment decisions in their success, my energy dips, and my creativity and confidence take a hit. As CEO, keeping that spark alive is key, which I always nudge my clients to remember. So, I need to walk that talk on a deeper level, too.

We have built our high-integrity reputation as a business and attracted some amazing people into our offers (and no, that doesn’t mean you have to be some millionaire CEO to be here!) because our clients get above-industry-standard results.

And that’s because we usually select fast, decisive action-takers to work with us. We aren’t into twisting anyone’s arm or performing acrobatics to prove ourselves. Our ideal clients can see from miles away the levels of excellence we bring to the table and know pretty instantly they want to work with us in some capacity.

So here’s the radical thing we are doing:

If you’ve been here for years and years, are just here to “see what I’m doing”, or “love what I write” but have no intention of buying anything from us, referring people to us, etc…, I’m asking you, with a lot of love and gratitude for your time here, to please unsubscribe from this list.

My social media is a great place where you can still keep up with what we do and has lots of free content. Find me on Instagram, Facebook or Tiktok.

Now, if you’re still here, here’s what happens next: we will offer you opportunities to invest in our work every day for the next 60 days. We’re calling it “60 Days Of Selling.”

Some of these offers are things you may have seen before, but you may have sat on the fence about (you’ll now have a chance to jump on the fence and join the fast action-takers club, which in and of itself will TRANSFORM you.)

Some of these offers will be brand new, never seen before.

Some will be hugely popular programs that we tabled and are only back for a very select group of people.

These offers are for you whether you’re under $100,000 a year in revenue, in the multiple six-figures OR you’re already a super successful CEO of a 7, 8, or even 9-figure company. There’s something for everyone here!

Yes, for 60 days, we will email you daily with an offer. The price points start at $97. You will have an opportunity to buy something from us to indicate that you are part of the decisive action-takers we love to work with and want to foster more of in our community.

If you have not bought anything from us at the end of those 60 days, we will move you to a different list to which we will send content less frequently

If you fall into the “not buying anything” category (and you’re not a friend or family member), this is not a punishment or anything personal. I’m grateful to you for being here as long as you have.

But it’s a waste of your time to be here anyway because all our content is geared towards action-takers who are ready to invest in our work. Our time and energy are so short these post-pandemic days that I’d rather you subscribe somewhere your energy isn’t wasted.

2024 energy is all about evenly matched relationships.

It’s about culling our list down to a smaller community of people who are ready to take action and make EPIC opportunities happen in their businesses NOW.

It’s about creating an active, highly-honed, and selective list of badass buyers and action-takers who WANT what we have to offer and who want to be in a community with like-minded professionals.

That’s it. That’s the news.

We start tomorrow with our first offer..

See those of you who are still here after 60 days on the other side. I’m looking forward to working with you in whichever offer you partake in. And, as always, I’m sending all my love.

I was about to head out the door to an event last week when I made a radical decision. I had my makeup on, was fully dressed, and ready to go—I even took this picture as I was about to head out the door…

And then I realized the venue was a 45-minute drive for me– at night.

I thought about one of the things I always teach clients when they are recalibrating their businesses and careers to have more visibility without the hustle and the burnout: energy management. As our businesses grow, our time and energy become even more important than money.

In fact, it’s through preserving our time & energy that MORE money comes.

So, I have noticed in myself and my clients that it’s very easy to get wrapped up in all the opportunities and exciting events you are invited to.

But as I reflected on the fact that- I haven’t had many nights in lately to just chill on my couch, watch TV, and do my nails (I love doing my nails; it’s relaxing for me & feels like deep self-care).

I also had an 8-month-old project I kept putting off because of a lack of time and energy. The nagging reminder that it was overdue also drained my energy in tiny amounts daily.

I decided- instead of using 1.5 hours of my time driving in total and another 2 hours at an event where I may or may not make special business connections…I’d rather stay home, have a girls’ night, and complete that project that’s been on my mind for eight months.

And I did just that. The project I thought would take me hours to complete took me only 35 minutes. And I got to sit on my couch watching TV, drinking my Canada Dry Diet Cranberry Ginger Ale, doing my nails.

It was just what I needed and a wise use of my energy as a CEO. The replenishment and deep rest I felt the rest of the week from giving myself that evening to stay in and do “nothing productive” has given me delight and energy to send out thousands of dollars of proposals to people reaching out about working with us on the corporate side and for 1:1 coaching, have a cold intro call with a new corporate contact and teach our new free masterclass showing you how to scale your visibility & business without burnout (which we are getting RAVE reviews on from participants!)

Part of what I teach in that masterclass is how vital capacity is to your visibility & business growth. Managing our energy is one of the ways we can grow with the right amount of capacity, so we don’t burn out.

Want to hustle less and rest more, all while growing your visibility and scaling your business to new revenue heights? You won’t want to miss this Friday’s free Masterclass! Join us right here.

In the last couple of weeks, I’ve received multiple alarmed messages from different sources telling me others are ripping off my IP on capacity – my ideas, my words, and even my whole vibe.

Back when I first started talking capacity (YEARS ago), nobody else was. It was just me, the lone voice, bringing something new to the coaching world.

And yeah, I’ve got the whole copyrighted framework to prove it.

Despite this, I’ve watched as my concepts got copied over the years, especially by white women, which sadly doesn’t surprise me anymore. It’s part of a bigger pattern I’ve noticed in business. This is what the shadow side of whiteness does- extracts, steals, and exploits the work & genius of others.

But here’s the real talk: imitators can’t match my energy or expertise.

While they’re just getting on the capacity bandwagon, I’ve been living and breathing this stuff for years.

They might fool some, but with my name plastered all over capacity content on the internet for years, the truth’s not hard to find.

And…

1) Their lack of originality is glaring. My inbox is full of messages calling out the copycats, which only shows they’re not the thought leaders they claim to be. It makes THEM look bad.

2) I’m always light years ahead in understanding capacity in leadership, the acknowledged go-to expert.

3) No one can replicate the depth of insight & experience I bring to this topic – it’s not just what I say, it’s how I say it. And how I EMBODY it.

***This is why visibility is crucial, especially for women of color. ***

We’re too often sidelined or overlooked, with our ideas co-opted by white women who more easily get visibility opportunities & therefore, already have large platforms, turning OUR innovations they steal & co-opt into their cash cows.

Not. happening. on. my. Watch.

So I’m doubling down on getting LOUDER & MORE VISIBLE about capacity– MY area of expertise and IP, ensuring no one forgets who owns this space.

And I’m ALWAYS here to lift other women and men who don’t fit into the “mainstream” and whitewashed picture of a CEO, to make sure their voices drown out the noise of those who take without giving credit. (Because you can invite a WOC to teach in your program instead of stealing from them.)

If you’re fed up with being invisible around YOUR unique brand of genius and want to claim the spotlight you effing deserve, join my free masterclass.

I’ll show you how to 10x your visibility in 2024 without burning out, focusing on balancing your capacity and visibility.

Over the last 15 years, I’ve had the privilege of coaching and advising some pretty incredible people. Some of them are celebrities and CEOs who, through our work together. have gone on to achieve incredible feats and grow huge brands.

Many of those names I can’t reveal for confidentiality reasons…but what I CAN share with you are a) the common traits they share that make them successful and b) some of the advice I’ve given them for which they’ve paid me six figures (yes, for ONE program).

Over the next few emails, I’ll walk you through this because I believe we can learn a lot from observing the mindset and actions of people who have achieved the kind of visibility we want without burning out or reaching a finite capacity for success.

Fair warning: depending on where you are with your growth, you might not want to hear what I’m going to share. But what I can tell you is that the people who work with me and are doing really well– this is the kind of stuff that, when I say it to them, they get LIT UP. Because this is the level of insight and impact that they’re looking for from a coach.

So here’s the first secret: They don’t want someone who’s going to praise them and coddle them constantly.

They’re looking for someone who is going to tell them “Hey, you know what? THIS is what’s actually going on with you.” They want someone who’s not afraid to tell them the hard stuff many people don’t see or are afraid to tell them. They don’t want a mom or a babysitter.

When I give them feedback that’s a little hard to hear or a little confronting to their identity or perception of themselves…they know it’s not criticism-based. It’s expansion-based. They want this type of feedback because it’s the very thing that helps them grow quickly. This is what they pay six figures for.

Storytime: I worked with a very successful client who owned an eight-figure business that sells a product you’ve probably heard of. She signed up to work with me soon after she found me online, but two weeks after the agreements were signed I got an email from her saying, “I think I need to withdraw” and there were a bunch of excuses as to why.

Most people would say, “Okay”, and let her go. That’s what she was used to: getting off the hook easily when she showed up half-@ssed to important growth moments in her career…and telling herself she was just “too overwhelmed” to work on this very issue she’d hired me for.

But just like I take your time seriously when you’re in my orbit, I take my time seriously. And I expect there to be reciprocal respect in that regard. When you sign up to work with someone and then try to get out of your now legal contract– there are many people your coach has rejected from that spot that you’ve been taking up since you signed up.

Part of being a self-responsible and successful CEO is honoring your commitments and having integrity with your word (and not wasting someone’s time by trying to get out of a legally binding agreement they and their team spent effort and time putting together and holding for you).

More importantly, I could see this was a pattern for her and it was one of the reasons she’d hired me. So I wrote her back: “I know what you want me to do is to make you feel good about this decision, coddle you and let you off the hook. But here’s the deal. Right now you can choose to break that pattern, or you can keep doing what you’re doing here. But I’m not going to expend energy convincing you, or soothing you. YOU have to choose what kind of CEO you want to be.”

Two days went by, and I didn’t hear from her.

On the third day, she sent me a message that said “I had to give myself two days to process because I was so triggered by the email you sent me. But I realized I was so triggered because you were right. You had the guts to call me out and I love that. I know I need to work with you. Thank you so much.”

With that response, I knew she was truly ready for the type of success she claimed she wanted and therefore WOULD achieve it during our work together. I coached and advised her for the next year and a half, and by the time she and I were done working together, her business had grown even more and won several awards. She was featured in Forbes as a top-growing company, and her team issues were resolved. She finally had more time for herself and her family, even while the company was doubling its revenue.

That’s the power of learning how to take strong feedback.

The kind of people who I know are ready to work with me and are a good fit? They deeply value strong feedback and see it for the deep support that it is. It might hurt their ego temporarily to hear, but they’re ultimately deeply grateful for it and know it is expansion-producing. When I see that trait, I KNOW they’re going to be extremely successful. And so far, it has never been wrong.

How good are you at taking strong feedback? Is this something you want to improve?

I know these days there are so many “business coaches” in your inbox, and on your social media page, all trying to sell you their latest course or coaching package.

But if you’re willing, I would appreciate the opportunity today to share my story with you because I think it will give you a different perspective and at the very least, re-inspire you on your mission and journey as a business owner and leader.

And I want to thank in advance those of you who will take the short time to read this today. I know how precious our time and energy are these days, so I promise, I’ll make it worth your while.

I started “coaching” people when I was seven years old. I’d go to sleepovers at my cousin’s house and my friends would share their big dreams with me and then express doubt about how it could happen. I would literally get up in front of them and deliver motivational speeches to them telling them they could do anything!

Oprah was my hero and I watched her show religiously (mostly reruns because growing up in Panama we got American TV shows wayyy after they originally aired.) I didn’t know that coaching could be a career at the time, but I knew I was drawn to how she helped people.

I had three, LIFE-DEFINING moments that led me to what I do today:

Living through a full-on government coup and dictatorship

My parents “adopting” two impoverished boys from the Panamanian ghetto

A conversation with a family member that made me so angry it lit a forever fire.

Surviving the dictatorship

Growing up in the dictatorship of Manuel Noriega, I experienced having a family member kidnapped, being tear-gassed, military police pointing guns at me on my way to school, and seeing dead bodies in the street – all before the age of 10.

My grandfather’s beach house happened to be right next door to the dictator’s house. So, on weekends, I’d see Noriega on his back porch having a leisurely breakfast with his wife. At 9 years old, my little body would shake with rage at how he sat there in luxury, completely uncaring about the way the people of his country were suffering and dying.

Seeing corrupt and bad leadership in my country at such a young age made me deeply passionate as an adult about helping GOOD leaders advance in the world.

The two boys I’ll never forget

Around the same time, my mother, on her way to work as a teacher, struck up a conversation with a little 8-year-old boy who was begging on the street. She discovered he lived in a cardboard shack with his three other siblings– one of whom was dying of AIDS and another who was pregnant at only 15 years old. Their parents had been murdered in gang-related events.

My parents didn’t have a lot of money at that time, but they used whatever little extra they had to buy them food every week and paid for their school books and clothes. They became an important part of our family.

But the story ends in tragedy. Despite my parent’s attempts, they could not overcome the influence of their environment. One of them succumbed to AIDS and died. The other is in jail now for shooting a police officer. I’ll never get over this. Even as I’m writing this, I feel a huge lump of devastation in my throat. It deeply impacted me to be someone who helps build people from the inside out, so they CAN overcome their environments.

The enraging argument

The last piece of the puzzle came at fifteen, after an argument with two family members in a car. They kept saying “Listen, you’re either born with it or not. There are just some people who are more talented than others. You either got it or you don’t.”

I VEHEMENTLY disagreed. It went against every cell in my body to believe that the Universe or God had created this world where some people would get everything they wanted just by randomly being “born with it”, while others were “doomed” to pre-determined lives of suffering.

I told them I believed ANYONE could do ANYTHING they set their mind to. They just needed the right support. We weren’t doomed to “what we were born with”. They arrogantly disagreed and laughed at me.

I stayed quiet, but with rageful tears in my eyes, I silently vowed to devote my life to proving we are NEVER permanently doomed by the circumstances around us. With the right guidance and support, we can overcome and create more than we ever dreamed of. I NEVER wanted to be the people smirking at those who “just weren’t born with it.” I wanted to be the person cheering people on and telling them I believed in them, even when they didn’t believe in themselves.

I personally KNOW the impact of the people who had believed in ME, even during times when it felt like most people didn’t. I know how important it is to be that light for someone with a kind word or a motivating nudge.

This all came flooding back into my heart yesterday, as I was speaking with a very talented social media director who asked me why I do what I do and how I got here. I almost cried as I told him I see so many people who aren’t “old, white men of privilege” achieving great things, and getting into rooms with the “old guard”, suddenly doubting themselves.

You ask yourself “Do I belong here? Am I as good as these people who are in these big rooms I fought to be in? Do I have the right to be THIS BIG AND POWERFUL? Do I have what it takes to create this much wealth, visibility, and impact?”

And I want to shout from the rooftops and shake every single one of you and say YES YOU ARE. WE NEED YOU IN THOSE ROOMS! YOU BELONG BECAUSE YOU SAY YOU BELONG DAMNIT!

When I see my client, a woman who overcame so much to start one of the most successfully WOC-owned commercial construction businesses on the West Coast… wondering if she belongs in rooms with primarily old, white men…I am SO HAPPY she signed up to work with me so I can help her see how absolutely effing incredible she is and how badly those spaces and the world needs her perspective.

When I see my friend Mike, who was already a trailblazer as the first Black leprechaun mascot for football at my college, Notre Dame… and he tells me just reading my content inspired him to write several motivational children’s books that have been very successful, I feel HONORED and humbled to have been a tiny part of that journey.

When I see my client Shaneh, who was stuck at $200,000 in revenue for 7 years due to burning out after her first 7-figure attempt in her business years ago…go from that to over $400,000 in revenue just a few months later…I am INSPIRED and thrilled to be her coach.

When I see those of you who I’ve worked with 1:1 or in our group programs (Visibility Operating System or Visibility Vortex mastermind), tell me you’re finally seeing MORE MOVEMENT, more clients, and more money coming in…and you aren’t burned out while doing it…

When I get messages from you like this…

And I see how EVERY. SINGLE. ONE. OF. YOU who I’ve worked with or will work with CARES about leaving this world a better place than you found it…

I am reminded YOU are why I do what I do.

We NEED you in those big rooms with the “old guards” of the industry.

We need your fresh ideas.

We need your varied perspectives.

We need you wealthy and visible, living the life you always dreamed of, in a business or career you LOVE (and that energizes you vs. burns you out.)

I know when I can support you to do that through any of our coaching programs, I am leaving my legacy in the world. The legacy that little girl dreamed of while looking at the stars at age 10, vowing to help people be their most high-potential selves. And to show them they are loved, they matter and they BELONG. No matter what anyone or any life circumstance may want to tell you– it is your birthright to be whoever you want to be. Period.

If you’ve gotten to this point, thanks again for reading.

And if you’re ready to step into your next level of visibility and impact with a coach who has worked with and helped so many of the GREATS, and who understands your unique, advanced-level needs as a business owner…

Simply hit reply to this message. I’d love to see how I can support you in the New Year to make 2024 your best year yet.

I flew to Portland a few weeks ago for my cousin’s wedding and had the most marvelous time! The wedding was a blend of many of the cultures in my family (Persian, Latino, American, etc…), so naturally, we had a special cigar tasting table, at which I enjoyed a fabulous Cuban cigar.

And I am definitely my grandfather and father’s descendant because I have a great love for whiskey (I even have a whiskey collection). An “old fashioned” is my favorite drink to enjoy the few times a year I have a cocktail.

So naturally, my cousin took a picture of me feeling very joyful while doing this:

I went to post the photo to social media and noticed a small hesitation in my belly. Nothing major enough to stop me from posting it- but enough to inspire this post.

People take so many things out of context on social that my mind ran through a million types of comments or assumptions people would make about me. Not to mention the BS white-washed expectations of anyone in a leadership position somehow always needing to never drink alcohol and always eat a “clean” perfect diet.

But the truth is- that’s not my culture. It’s not my idea of a fun life. And I believe in enjoying the things you love in moderation. To me, that’s way healthier than constantly restricting yourself to keep up with some weird “standard” you never resonated with.

Just a few weeks prior, I’d been teaching about expanding our visibility in business and the problem of “respectability politics” inside our Visibility Vortex mastermind. We talked about how this stems from people pleasing and “fitting in” to mainstream ideals and how this is the death knell for any business that wants to be visible and scale successfully.

So let’s talk about it today here — about being a CEO and the “people pleaser” instinct….PLUS, how this holds back the growth of your company on a team, profit & visibility level.

This can show up in a variety of ways…

1) You excessively worry about your “image.” It’s one thing to be private (for example, I am private about my personal life even though I do openly share about my OWN overcoming of challenges as CEO- mainly because I believe in guarding the privacy of my loved ones who may not have consented.)

It’s another thing to be holding back the parts of you as a leader and visionary that make you unique and reflect your true zone of genius.

I ended up purposely posting that picture of me smoking a cigar and drinking an “old-fashioned” because a love of learning, experiencing all that life has to offer, and pure delight is part of my values as a CEO. It’s also something I value in my own company. For example- my entire team works asynchronously, and if anyone ever feels they need a “mental health day,”- we cheer them on to take it.

If I were to hide that side of me for the sake of “respectability politics”- I’d be the same vanilla leadership advisor you find anywhere.

You see, there’s a reason why I’ve been able to do things like book a $28,000 speaking engagement at a corporation for an executive team. It’s BECAUSE I am myself, visibility-wise. The people who book me or sign up to work with me always say, “Your content is so different and unique from everything else that’s out there — I knew you’d deliver a phenomenal experience to our team/I knew working with you would be different.”

2) You allow others’ instability to destabilize YOU — personally & professionally.

Last week, while trying to schedule a private Pickleball lesson with a new instructor – they confirmed my appointment, then tried to reschedule it an hour later.

I noticed the part of me that wanted to “comply” to be perceived as “pleasant” to work with. But the fact was: changing my lesson time after I’d already moved my schedule to accommodate it would have created a destabilizing effect on my schedule and on my team’s time, too.

So I kindly wrote back and said I couldn’t reschedule and asked if, in the future, we could make sure to stick to confirmed times. I braced myself for the instructor to be reactive, but instead, they apologized and kept the original time.

So, if you feel like your company’s growth has left you “at capacity,” maybe it’s time to examine your own relationship to people-pleasing and respectability politics. Have you stopped to think that your “I’m at capacity and so overwhelmed and busy” feeling might partially be a result of you trying to please way too many people by either having wobbly boundaries or showing up as a vanilla version of you because you worry about upsetting people by just being… you?

Maybe you don’t need another ad strategy to expand your capacity to be visible. Maybe you don’t need another tapping/EFT session.

Maybe you just need to get better at disappointing people

A friendly reminder that tomorrow is the last chance to join the Epic Visibility Challenge for only $47!

We start TOMORROW, April 10, at 1:00 pm PT / 4:01 pm ET, and we’ve got an amazing group of people signed up already who are ready to align their visibility strategy with their most epic vision for their life and business. With the caliber of people in this group, you’re going to be happy you signed up because of who you’ll get to connect with during the challenge!

A few people have asked: I want to join, but I can’t make the exact time of the live streams you’ll be doing in the Facebook Group- can I still participate?

Absolutely. Once I go live in our private pop-up Facebook group, the replays will be up in the group for you during the entire time the group is open. So if you’re in a different time zone or have other meetings going on during the time of our live streams, you can always catch up by watching the replays.

Don’t have a FB account? We have lots of people who created one just for the challenge, then deactivated it afterwards. It’s easy enough to do.

If you want to stop wasting time on visibility strategies that are only creating more overwhelm and burnout and you want to learn:

The EXACT visibility capacity you need to successfully launch your high-ticket offer, hit record sales numbers, and scale to reach more people (because there’s a way to be perceived so sales happen with ease)

Why your visibility and marketing don’t have to own you in order for you to shatter sales records month-after-month

The visibility capacity you need to expand your brand and experience high-profile publicity (without inviting burnout, overwhelm, or a constant hustle, aka a visibility hangover)

Believe it or not, there was a time when I was doing visibility ALL WRONG. A few days ago, I told you this: visibility influences EVERYTHING in your life and business. When your visibility strategy isn’t aligned, you’ll feel like you’re working so hard and the results you’re seeing aren’t worth it. When your visibility strategy isn’t dialed in, you’ll feel like you get to a certain level of visibility and past that you just can’t handle the workload anymore.

That’s how I felt when I was getting visibility wrong. And this is what it looked like:

→ I had a team that didn’t know how to support me properly and didn’t have the capacity to get me to the next level of revenue in my business. There was constant drama, bad attitudes, dropped balls, micromanaging, and they often lost me thousands of dollars with their mistakes instead of contributing to the bottom line.

→ I had some clients that wanted to push the scope of our work, didn’t do the work but still complained, and just plain drained my team and I. While most of my clients have been wonderful, those few bad apples seriously made me question if I even wanted to be a coach.

→ I wasn’t invited into the rooms with the caliber of people I wanted to partner with for bigger business ventures. I felt invisible to them.

→ I didn’t have the right mentoring support, so I spent a lot of money on good mentors that didn’t “get” me and gave me advice that may have worked for others but didn’t really move me past the plateaus I was experiencing at the time.

During that time, I remembered something an astrologer told me long ago: “Your life lesson is all about ‘being seen.” At that time, I acutely felt the wound of not being seen, despite how darn hard I was working to BE seen and get the opportunities and revenue I wanted.

None of these “bad” things happened because I wasn’t working hard enough. I was working my @ss off, to be frank. None of these things happened because I wasn’t already being visible–I was. I was posting on social media every day, sending emails every week (sometimes 2x a week!), and showing up on four podcasts a month. I was being visible.

But getting the visibility opportunities you want has nothing to do with how hard you’re working. It has everything to do with your ALIGNMENT.

If your visibility strategy isn’t aligned to the epic vision you have for your business and life, you can work 100 hours a week, and you still won’t have the results you want. That’s what I didn’t get at the time. I had visibility blind spots. You have them too. We ALL do.

It took the RIGHT mentor to finally tell me: “Lisa, you’re a brilliant strategist! I would NEVER know it, looking at your presence online. All I see is a wispy, goddessy brand that doesn’t have a quarter of the depth, intelligence, and brilliance you actually bring to the table with clients. Where is all of THAT on your website and social media presence? Why am I not hearing you talk like THAT when you get interviewed on podcasts?”

I was doing ALL the visibility things, so I thought I was expanding my capacity for visibility. But I was expanding my capacity in the wrong direction. The real me– the intelligent strategist who has methodologies she created, a proven framework, and can lead leaders of $100 million dollar companies was HIDING behind the visibility strategy I had at the time.

So I had to work TWICE as hard to get the results I wanted. That’s what happens when your visibility isn’t aligned with your vision. It took me a little while to get myself out of that cycle and that way of thinking in order to expand my business and start getting the visibility opportunities I really wanted. Two years of diligent pivoting, to be exact

I want to shortcut that for you. You don’t have to go through the construction zone like I did. If you want to sit in your car on a hot summer day and deal with construction traffic, that’s your prerogative. But if you want the detour to get you to your desired destination in half the time, I’m showing you the detour, and it’s this…

I got really clear about what MY unique visibility strategy needed to be. And I ALIGNED my visibility strategy with MY vision for my life and business.

THAT is what paved the way for things like:

→ Oprah and Gayle finding me online, loving my positioning and messaging (I’d just overhauled it to show my true brilliance), and literally coming to visit ME at MY HOME and featuring me on their TV show and O magazine.

→ Hiring the best team of my life. A-Players and true experts who love what my company is doing so much; THEY are fans of what I’m doing and want to join my company to lend their genius expertise and help take it to the next level.

→ Getting invited to work with multiple-8-figure companies as an advisor and help them put together their advisory boards, solve leadership problems, and get recommended as an advisor to other leading-edge companies.

→ Becoming friends with and having life-changing conversations with industry leaders who invite ME to their exclusive, private gatherings and introduce me to other big players in the industry.

→ Having wonderful, luxurious dinners with brilliant thought leaders who see my genius and hire me as their coach (without me feeling intimidated one bit!).

And you know what? I work MUCH less than I did back when I was doing “all the visibility things” and not getting the results I wanted. I now close six-figure deals over fun dinner conversations. I create multiple-six-figure months without doing a single sales call or without sending any emails. I get to do visibility MY way– aligned with the spacious, peaceful vision for my life and business. My clients have the same results too.

This is my dream for you. And it’s why I decided to completely overhaul and bring back the ALL NEW Epic Visibility Challenge.

Everything you want is on the other side of getting your visibility strategy dialed in and ALIGNED. By the time you walk away from this challenge, you will have pinpointed the ONE thing YOU need to do (custom to YOU) to start getting the results you want in your business.

And guess what? It’s most likely NOT the thing you think you need to do. Because, just like me, you have blind spots, too. And the reason you may not be getting the visibility results you want is because you’re focusing on the wrong thing. The challenge will show you the RIGHT thing to focus on so you can shortcut your way there instead of doing all the stuff I had to do to get there. That’s the beauty of having mentors who walk their talk.

We’re closing the cart for the Epic Visibility Challenge on April 10, 2023. That’s just three days from now.

Don’t miss out on this incredible opportunity to take the scenic shortcut to the results you want. Grab your spot for only $47 now.

A few days ago, I sent you an email about how, back in 2022, I decided to shut down one of our most popular visibility offerings ever, The Epic Visibility Challenge. I did this because I could see the beginnings of a deep shift in the landscape of how we want to do visibility, and noticed visibility tactics that used to work, weren’t working anymore (and people were struggling as a result. You and I both got the same “I’m shutting my big program/business down” emails from the same big-name entrepreneurs.)

In that 1.5 years, I paused the challenge, I did a deep dive into my own relationship with visibility, and experimented a lot on myself. Some of the experiments failed, while others were hugely successful. Then I brought my “visibility findings” back to my clients and saw them get incredible results (like 3x’ing their revenue, getting huge engagement on their social media, and more…all while working 50% less than before.)

But you know what came as a HUGE two-part surprise?

The first thing that surprised me was this: how INTEGRAL visibility is to getting everything you want in your life and business. Everything, everything comes back to your visibility being dialed in.

You can’t have a successful business without visibility.

You can’t impact people without visibility.

You can’t buy that dream vacation home for your family with your business’ extra profits without visibility.

You can’t get the big, prestigious invites you want if your visibility isn’t dialed in.

You can’t get the dream team you want supporting you without visibility.

You can’t attract your dream partner without visibility.

EVERYTHING comes back to your visibility.

Except, when I say “visibility,” I hear your silent internal groan. Because most of us associate more visibility with more work. More burnout. More overwhelm. More staying stuck on the hamster wheel of marketing, content creation, and “hustle”. So visibility for you has become this “either or” equation. “I can have peace OR profitability. I can have a seven figure business OR weekends off with my family. I can have a dream team OR profit.”

So here is where we come to the second part of that big surprise…the either / or is a LIE.

The stunner is this: when it comes to visibility, you CAN have BOTH. You can have big visibility and spaciousness. You can have big revenue AND only work 3 days a week. You can have a triple-revenue growth quarter and not have to do a single sales call, massive email launch sequence, or want to faceplant afterwards.

When your visibility strategy is ALIGNED with the epic vision you have for your life, YOU. CAN. HAVE. BOTH. BUT that’s the caveat–you have to get your visibility dialed in and aligned. If it’s not aligned, that’s when you’ll feel like more visibility equals more exhaustion.

This was shocking to me, not because I didn’t know it was possible. I’ve built a whole framework around visibility, for goodness sake! But in my year-long “visibility experiments” it was UNEQUIVOCALLY proven to me over and over, both with myself and clients’ results.

Visibility isn’t just about “being seen.” Visibility is your revenue, it’s your team, your positioning, your offers, your business model, where you’re putting your daily energy and focus, it’s your pricing.

Aligned visibility looks like this:

“I get to pick the best people to work with me on my team,” not “I have to take what I can get because I don’t have the budget to afford the team I desire.”

Not having to convince people to work with you or to see your value. Instead, it’s having people applying to work with you or you being invited to the big opportunities instead.

Attracting top-tier, high-ticket clients without having to post on all that platforms and do all the marketing things.

Not feeling like you’re having to constantly market or post on social media while feeling disheartened over low engagement and, instead, making $50,000 from one post without giving a hoot about the vanity metrics.

Not just being on the cover of a big magazine, but also having an easier sales process so you don’t get burned out trying to retain all the new clients that publicity opportunity brought you.

That’s exactly why I decided to bring back the Epic Visibility Challenge in 2023 after 1.5 years. In the 3 days we’ll spend together, I’ll be:

Teaching you the six, advanced-level visibility levers that are working for aligned, effective, and easeful visibility in 2023.

Helping you pinpoint the EXACT, custom-to-you advanced visibility strategy YOU need to activate in order to get your visibility aligned in the next 30 days.
