We’re getting into holiday time, and whichever tradition you celebrate, I want to wish you a happy, easeful and gentle time.
My end-of-the-year vacation started today and I moved into a brand new home a few weeks ago. I’ll be posting pics of my magical cottage on Instagram stories, so make sure if we aren’t friends there, that you give me a follow so you can see! I keep telling everyone my house feels the movie “The Holiday.” Can’t wait to show it to you.
Don’t know about you, but I personally start reflecting on my year before New Year’s eve. Because when I start the new year, I want to leave the past in the past, and forge forward with the valuable lessons I learned in my heart to create new wonders and set bigger, bolder and more fabulous goals. I want to be clear when I start my year!
In fact, I’m hosting a planning-your-year workshop in January for the members of Capacity Shift™. Except this is going to be a planning workshop unlike any you’ve attended.
Because before we set quarterly goals for our lives and careers, we’re going to do a thorough self-assessment of where each of our capacity deficits lie and also get clear on EXACTLY which capacity needs to expand in order for you to actually reach your goals in 2021.
Cause you can have all sorts of fancy timelines and quarter by quarter strategies…but if you don’t have the capacity to pull them off…it’s just a fancy bit of organized doodles on a paper.
If you want to join us, it’ll be happening in January, and if you join us before the new year, you’ll get access to that for free.
It’s not news this was a majorly challenging year. Whatever you experienced, no one can argue there was A LOT to navigate. And this new world we’ve stepped into, it requires so much more capacity from us. It’s going to continue to be that way. It’s why I’ve doubled down on ways for you to work with me at a variety of price points.
This year was also a year where many “slates” were wiped clean. Veils were removed. I saw the true face of many people. I saw selfishness, people getting sucked into dangerous Q Anon conspiracy theories. The elitism, privilege and lack of perspective and compassion of the “white new age spiritual community.”
And I also saw generosity, connection and compassion. My clients had HUGE wins. I stepped into a whole other level of my business. Became a better manager, brokered bigger deals, spoke at some pretty big virtual events. On a personal level I deepened into a few select friendships in ways I’m SO grateful for. And I bolstered all of my relationships in every area of my life (detoxed a few I’d outgrown, too).
It wasn’t without some drama. But I’m happy that capacity work allowed me to navigate the dramas with a sense of peace internally and while maintaining my ability to stay in action, even when the road got bumpy.
I wish the same for you, every day. Truly, I mention you in my intentions every single day. Thank you for being here. Thank you for showing up for yourself.
As we sign off until the New Year, I hope you have a wonderful week and that you’re surrounded with love.
